Produced by Chartreuse Diffusion in Voiron, France, Chartreuse Green Liqueur is a legendary herbal liqueur originally created by Carthusian monks in the 18th century. The spirit is distilled from a secret blend of 130 different herbs, plants, and botanicals, a recipe known only to two monks at any time. After distillation, the liqueur is aged in oak casks to develop complexity while maintaining its distinctive natural green colour and powerful herbal character.
